This is a quick and easy recipe for kabobs. I know everyone has a way of doing them, this is a new recipe to add to your list. I was a friend's house a few weeks ago and he makes the best chicken wings I have ever eaten...I don't really like chicken wings. I was in the kitchen and saw a bowl with what he was brushing the wings with, he grills them, and next to the bowl was a BBQ sauce and garlic chili sauce(found in Asian section of grocery store). So, last night when I was trying to decide what brush my kabobs with I thought about this mixture. I never asked him if that was all he used, and actually added a little soy sauce to mine. They were delicious! Thanks Dudley!
Chicken Pineapple Kabobs
3 Chicken Breast-cubed
Pineapple
Green Bell Pepper
Onion
Sauce
1 Tbsp Garlic Chili Sauce
1/4 Cup Plain BBQ Sauce
Couple splashes of Soy Sauce
Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl and brush the kabobs with it. I made a separate bowl and headed it as a warm sauce after the kabobs were cooked.
Add what you like to your kabobs. The sauce would also work for shrimp, beef or pork. Serve with rice and enjoy!
If you make the sauce to spicy you can add a little oj and it will cut the spice. When I made the sauce to go on after the kabobs were cooked, it was way too spicy so I added oj and it did the trick.
