Faux Fried Turkey Steaks
Faux Fried Turkey Steaks-Salisbury Steaks
1lb Ground Turkey
1/4 Cup Milk
2 Garlic Cloves-chopped
2 Tbsp Onion-Chopped
1/4 Tsp Salt and Pepper
1-2 Tbsp Olive Oil or PAM
1/4 Cup Red Wine
1 Cup Chicken Broth
1 Brown Gravy Packet
In a bowl mix together ground turkey, milk, garlic, onion and salt and pepper. With your hands form meat in to 4 flat steaks. Heat olive oil in a skillet on high heat. Place each steak in the oil or PAM and cook on each side until brown. Remove steaks from heat. If you use oil remove some of it with a clean paper towel. Leave all the meat that may have stuck to the pan. Add wine and let reduce for a few minutes. Add sauce packet and chicken broth, stir. Add the steaks back to the sauce and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook for 10 minutes. I served them with mashed potatoes and an arugula, avocado salad. ENJOY!
