Grilled Pork Tenderloin with Homemade Apple Sauce
Grilled Pork Tenderloin
Serves 6-8
2 Pork Tenderloins-fat trimmed
2 Tbsp Fresh Thyme-chopped
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Fresh Ground Black Pepper
1-2 Tbsp Olive Oil
Heat grill to 350-400. Place pork on hot grill and cook for 10 minutes. Turn and cook for another 10 minutes. Remove from grill, and put an aluminum foil tent over pork and let sit for 10 minutes. Slice and serve.
Homemade Applesauce
Makes 3 Quarts
8 Fuji, Braeburn, or Gala Apples-peeled, seeded and roughly chopped
Enough water to cover apples
1 Tbsp Sugar-add more if you like it sweet
2 Tbsp Cinnamon
Boil apples until soft. Puree apples with liquid. Add sugar and cinnamon to taste.
